La Dolce Vita

An eight month gap in posts….ooooh, that’s bad.
To be honest I had unconciously given up on this blog; among the stresses of school, the excitment of holidays and the sorting out of university applications it simply died. However, I’m glad to say that I have not so easily let go of the Italian dream. In fact, with everyday I am closer to actually living ‘la dolce vita’…well for two months anyway.
I have found myself an aupair job in Italy for the summer, in a seaside town about an hour away from Rome. Basically I get paid to look after two children whilst they frolick around on the beach. So considering my general dottiness, they’ll probably end up with sunstroke at least once during the summer, and possibly come close to drowning. However, it doesn’t matter because I’ll be living my Italian dream!
